ABC's of Socialism: Solidarity Economy and Replacing Capitalism

Join Cleveland Democratic Socialists of America for our monthly reading group!

We will be discussing Solidarity Economies and alternatives to capitalism. We will begin with a presentation by members of the Cleveland DSA Education Committee on the ins the outs and the different forms Solidarity Economies can take. After that we will discuss the three readings below (covering the strengthes and weaknesses of the Solidarity Economy idea along with the example of Jackson, Mis, and its new radical mayor) and ideas for an alternative society not based on profit and exploitation.
