Examining and Ending White Supremacy’s Role in Family Separation

Examining and Ending White Supremacy’s Role in Family Separation

How has white supremacy separated families throughout history? How do we stay connected to the reality that white supremacist oppression spans centuries, continents and communities? In what ways can white people support movements led by People of Color to prevent further family separation, and without pitting communities against each other in competition for resources?
Join us for a night of discussion and learning together. We'll take time to think and share about the ways white supremacist institutions have separated families for centuries and continue to do so. We will also hear from members of our accountability partners regarding ways to plug in to action, and have time for everyone to share upcoming events and requests related to anti-racist organizing in Northeast Ohio.
