Know Human Trafficking Community Gathering
Human trafficking and street prostitution are prevalent on the near west side of Cleveland. The goal of this gathering is to engage, educate and empower residents to better understand what human trafficking is, and what it isn’t. Residents will be able to hear from survivors, local organizations and receive tools they can implement to help others in need.
6:20pm: A short film will be shown by the Renee Jones Empowerment Center. After the film there will be a panel discussion facilitated by Maureen Kenny, who is a lawyer and advocate at Case Western Reserve University. She is also the founder of The Center to End Human Trafficking.

Teresa Stafford- Cleveland Rape Crisis Center
John Morgan- Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Detective
Judge Marilyn Cassidy- Cleveland Municipal Court
