9th Annual LGBT Heritage Day Awards

9th Annual LGBT Heritage Day Awards

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Heritage Day is an awards ceremony that honors and celebrates LGBTQ+ individuals who have an ongoing commitment to the Greater Northeast Ohio LGBT community. As “out” LGBTQ+ community members, they have made significant contributions in the areas of Advocacy & Activism, Health & Wellness, Service, Arts & Culture, and/or Workplace Inclusion in and around Northeast Ohio. The ceremony is held annually during the second week in October to coincide with National LGBT History Month and Coming Out Day. The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland acts as the host organization. As such, The Center brings together and facilitates the planning committee, and provides support for the logistics, outreach, funding, and nomination & selection committees. Nominations can be submitted here. For more information, please contact Ryan Clopton-Zymler at (216) 651-5428 or by email at RZymler@lgbtcleveland.org. Hosted by LGBT Cleveland Community Center
