Justice, Dignity and Enduring Peace: The Struggle for Human Rights from the US to Palestine

Justice, Dignity and Enduring Peace: The Struggle for Human Rights from the US to Palestine

While the US limits refugees from several Muslim-majority countries, where do Palestinian refugees stand in the world? How is their struggle connected to the immediate issues facing various immigrant and refugee populations, and how is it different? How can we support practical visions to realize the right of return for Palestinian refugees in the context of the struggle for human rights for all?  Join us to hear from Lubnah Shomali of  BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights, in town from Bethlehem, about the right of return, to build connections between BADIL and US advocacy groups/communities, and to connect issues of Palestinian right of return to other racial justice, and refugee struggles in our communities. Co-sponsored by: IMAGINE PEACE, Westshore UU Church, and JVP Cleveland Chapter.
