POSTPONED; Rally: March for Refugees and Sanctuary

POSTPONED; Rally: March for Refugees and Sanctuary

POSTPONED till Friday @ 4pm

The new president is moving forward on his walls, blocking refugees, punishing sanctuary cities and islamophobic policies. A coalition of human rights groups are calling on people of conscious to take part in this rally/march and contact legislators to resist fear and hate mongering policies and rhetoric. Sponsored by Cleveland Jobs with Justice, Dream Activist Ohio, Greater Cleveland Immigrant Support Network, The Interreligious Task Force on Central America and Columbia, Lorain Ohio Immigrant Rights Association, Ohio's Voices and others. After the Rally take a few minutes to go to Rob Portman's office and 1) Ask him what his position is on blocking refugees and 2) Tell him how concerned you are about this move. If you don't have time Monday, take a few minutes during lunch or a weekday off. Stop in, no appointment needed, and tell Portman what you think about what Trump's doing to immigrants and sanctuary cities. You can also call or stop in to tell Sherrod Brown to continue to fight against these horrible policies - Senator Rob Portman 1240 East Ninth Street, Room 3061, Cleveland 44199, 202 224 3353: Senator Sherrod Brown 801 West Superior Ave. Suite 1400, Cleveland 44113 1 888 896 6446
