March For Health Cleveland

March For Health Cleveland

Citizen's Filibuster & March for Health: A gathering of groups shining light on how the Trump administration hurts women, families, immigrants, people of color, and so many other groups. From attempts to roll back access to healthcare, the cuts to critical programs in the Trump budget, defunding of critical women’s health care services, and the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsich to the Supreme Court, the people of Cleveland will come together on 4/1 to send a clear message of resistance to leaders in Washington DC. We will not be silent as they attack our communities. The March for Health was launched in New York City by patients and their healthcare providers together, but has spread to 29 cities across the country in support of continued progress for quality, affordable healthcare access. The Citizen's Filibuster is part of a national call to action from NARAL Pro-Choice America to reject hate and send a clear, unified message to D.C. from grassroots coalitions across the nation. Cleveland will join the nation on April 1 in solidarity with these movements, and the March for Health - Cleveland is excited to expand and amplify our message with this local partnership. In addition to union members and healthcare supporters, hundreds of physicians, nurses, medical and nursing students, and other health professionals are expected to attend, many accompanied by their patients. Sign up to volunteer or share your story: Sponsored by OFA Cleveland, Naral and Progress Ohio. CCPC will be tabling this event and needs some volunteer help. If you can help out and be there around 9 am that would be great.
