Reproductive Justice 101

Reproductive Justice 101

Reproductive justice is about more than abortion access. To ensure that everyone can access equitable health care and bodily autonomy, we must dismantle the oppressive systems that affect women and families at the intersections of race, class, and gender. Join us at Preterm for a conversation that puts an intersectional and human rights lens on important aspects of the ongoing struggle for reproductive freedom. This is your opportunity to learn about reproductive justice from the experts in Cleveland. We'll take a deeper dive into the reproductive justice framework and the pivotal work being done by New Voices Cleveland. New Voices is a grassroots organization dedicated to the health and well being of Black women and girls. New Voices utilizes a reproductive justice framework to specifically engage Black women and girls in community organizing for lasting social change. Their vision is to achieve the complete health and well-being of Black women and girls, families, and communities. This is part of Preterm's Monthly Community Event Series, so it's free and open to the public! No RSVP necessary. Parking is available in the Preterm parking lot. For more information, email
