The End of US Interventionism Featuring Congressman Dennis Kucinich

Mr. Kucinich has had an illustrious career as a public servant, serving as the Mayor of Cleveland, Member of the Ohio Senate, and Member of the U.S. House of Representatives (1997-2013). As a two-time Presidential Candidate in 2004 & 2008 Mr. Kucinich was a staunch advocate of anti-war and anti-intervention campaigns. During his tenure in Congress Mr. Kucinich led the effort against the war in Iraq where he was able to gather 120 Congressional leaders against the US invasion of Iraq. Mr. Kucinich has visited the Middle East on multiple occasions to investigate on the ground conditions of the Syrian conflict. In 2013 Mr. Kucinich interviewed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and currently serves as a political analyst for Fox News. Mr. Kucinich visits Cleveland State University to discuss the dangers of intervention and how the US ought to respond to conflict in the Middle East. Hosted by Cleveland State College Democrats.
