Women in the 2016 Election and What's Next in Politics
Join activists and political professionals Jeananne Chadsey (Republican fundraiser and organizer) and Gabrielle Jackson (teacher and current president, Northeast Ohio Young Black Democrats) for a bipartisan panel discussion about U.S. politics, with women as the focus. 2016 was an extremely interesting year politically, and politics continues on our minds in 2017 with significant shifts in national leadership. In 2016, the U.S. could have elected its first woman president, but by no means were women united in their support. And yet, with gender discrimination still rampant in our society, there are many reasons why women may wish to come together in advocacy, across party lines.
